The Wandella Football Netball Club aims to provide an opportunity for all age groups to participate in football and netball as players, coaches, supporters and administrators. We aim to enhance the health and wellbeing of all our members and supporters. The club will at all times endeavour to care for the health and wellbeing of our youth by providing a safe
environment in which they can participate in sport.
These aims will be achieved through:
• Promoting a sense of community and sound social values
• Providing an environment to nurture the physical and mental development of our youth
• Ensuring respect for offi cials, opposition players and supporters
• Promoting the virtues of fair and disciplined play
• Providing equal opportunities for all
• Fostering a sense of tradition and belonging
These aims will be realised by providing as far as reasonable:
• Accredited and competent coaches and assistants
• Adequate facilities, amenities and equipment
• Supervised social functions encouraging family participation
• Regular communication and consultation with players and parents
• Active leadership and management of the club
• Participation in health and wellbeing initiatives
All players, coaches and offi cials, parents, supporters and committee members have a
responsibility at all times when representing the Wandella Football Netball Club, to conduct
themselves in an appropriate manner consistent with these values and Codes of Conduct as
developed by the AFLVIC and Wandella Football Netball Club committee.
